Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Field Report ("we", "us", "the app"), a fantasy football league analytics platform that also provides informational sports betting and odds features. By accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Informational & Entertainment Use Only

The app is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. All content — including analytics, projections, rankings, recaps, odds, betting lines, and market comparisons — is intended to inform and entertain league members and does not constitute financial, betting, investment, or professional advice of any kind.

2. No Wagering

The app does not accept, place, process, facilitate, or broker any wagers, bets, or gambling transactions of any kind. No money changes hands through the app. Any odds, lines, spreads, totals, or betting-market prices displayed are shown solely for informational and entertainment purposes. They are not offers to enter into a wager, are not betting advice, and must not be relied upon for gambling decisions. If you choose to place a wager with a licensed third-party operator, you do so entirely at your own risk, on that operator's platform, and subject to that operator's terms and to all laws that apply to you. You are solely responsible for confirming that any such activity is legal in your jurisdiction and that you meet all applicable eligibility and age requirements. If you or someone you know may have a gambling problem, please seek help from a qualified resource.

3. Third-Party Data & Accuracy

The app relies on data supplied by third parties, including league data from the Sleeper API and sports odds and prediction-market data from third-party data providers. All such data, along with any statistics, scores, projections, and derived analytics, is provided "as is" and "as available," without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Odds and market data may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect, and may differ from those offered by any licensed operator. We do not control third-party data and are not responsible for it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to place, solicit, or facilitate real-money wagers through the app.
• Access, scrape, or copy the app or its data by automated means beyond normal use, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other security controls.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the app, its infrastructure, or its third-party providers.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or commercially redistribute the app or its content without permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another league member.

5. Accounts

Some features require you to sign in (for example, via Discord). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.

6. No Warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data or content will be accurate or reliable.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our operators, contributors, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or gambling losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app or any reliance on its content or data — including any odds or betting-market information — whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes & Acceptance

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the league Discord server and/or an in-app notification, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Your continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
